This remote is Bluetooth enabled.

If you complete device setup, the

remote will be paired to the Player.

When paired, you do not need to

point the remote at the Player.

When controlling your cable/

satellite box or TV, the Remote uses

an IR [infrared] signal, so you must

point it directly at the cable/satellite

box or TV when pressing a button.
